Netroots New York – Call for Volunteers and Co-Creators

On December 17th, five hundred organizers, bloggers, political operatives, candidates, advocates and community activists will convene for a day of training and conversation.

  • What now, in the post Occupy Wall Street world?
  • What’s next for netroots power in New York?
  • After Wisconsin, how will the labor movement incorporate social media differently?

If these questions interest you as they interest us, please join the Netroots New York team. We can use your support for -

  • Producing the event (logistics!)
  • Serving on our program committee (in formation)
  • Helping with outreach to less likely attendees and speakers
  • Graphics, social media, video, web production and CRM help
  • Soliciting sponsorships
  • Planning before and after parties
  • Welcoming and hosting our speakers, presenters and guests
  • Building out our host committee

We can use your help for an hour, day, week, month or more. We can craft positions for meaningful internships. We will provide resume filler for the unemployed and underemployed. If interested, please use our volunteer interest form here.

Want to submit a session? Please do so here.

I’d like to explore serving on the program committee and/or possibly presenting at NNNY. Thanks for letting me know how to proceed.
